There’s nothing wrong with classically formal portraiture. To sit and pose in a studio environment can be a little nerve-wracking for clients but, as I believe that a photo session should be fun, I make sure I always bring out the best in people. If somebody wants a high quality, formal portrait of themselves or their family then that is what they will get. However, more and more people are opting for a fresh and vibrant style, more natural and relaxed. Expectations have changed and with them so have photographic techniques.
